The end of an era.
Well I'm kind of bummed out today I found out that the Hastings book store chain is going out of business. I really enjoyed that place it's kind of like losing an old friend.

Great Reads List
Hi, welcome to my blog. Most of the books I will be listing will be of the self-improvement and non-fiction category. I have intentionally displayed the listing of suggested books as randomly as possible with no alphabetical order to discourage quick skimming. This blog is not about finding what you are looking for. It is about finding what you never expected that you needed or wanted in a book.
My goal is to help you find a book that turns out to be a pleasant surprise. A road less traveled. A break from your normal reading routine.
We can all point out books that have helped shape us into the individuals that we have become.
In this blog I would like to share with you a list of books that I have enjoyed reading. Just as I don't agree 100% with everyone I meet, likewise I do not fully accept everything I read. But this does not stop me from learning new things. I hope that it will not stop you either.
I will continue to add to the list periodically.
So, on with the list! Enjoy.
